Structurally known as 4-Androstene-3,17 diol, it is a synthetic precursor and metabolite of testosterone that optimizes the body’s ability to produce testosterone. ANDRODIOL metabolizes in the liver to become testosterone much more efficiently than ANDROSTENEDIONE via the 3-beta-hydroxysteriod dehydrogenase enzyme system. ANDRODIOL and ANDROSTENEDIONE may be taken together to produce a synergistic effect thereby further elevating testosterone levels.
