Bodybuilding Beef Recipes


Try out these bodybuilding beef recipes - nutritious and delicious!

Bodybuilding Beef Jerky

3 lbs beef
1/2 cup water
3 dashes of liquid smoke
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. onion powder
4 Tbsp. salt (reduced sodium)

Cut beef into 1/4" thick strips, trimming away all fat. Mix all other ingredients, soak meat and let marinate for an hour or longer. Dehydrate at 155 degrees for 10 hours minimum. Check frequently - jerky should bend but not break. Makes about 30 servings

Beef Chop Suey

6 large egg whites
3 Cups Danish raw cabbage
2 1/2 ribs raw celery
7 oz. Beef eye, fat trimmed away
1 1/2 Cups soybean
2 Cups raw mushrooms, pieces
2 Cups canned chinese water chestnuts
1 1/2 Cups raw chopped onion
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 tsp. olive oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 Cup ready to serve beef bullion broth

Place 1 tsp. of olive oil in nonstick pan, add beef. Cook until done. While beef is cooking, in another pan add 2 tsp. olive oil, cabbage, mushrooms, sprouts, celery, water chestnuts, vinegar and onion. Cook until mixture is heated through, then add soy sauce, beef stock and cooked beef. Cook for additional 10 minutes to blend flavors. 2 servings.

Bodybuilding Roast Beef

3 lb beef roast
1 14 oz can low sodium beef broth
salt, pepper and garlic to taste

Put frozen roast in slow cooker on low. Pour beef broth over roast. Salt, pepper and garlic over contents of cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours, until roast is cooked.

Let sit for 5-10 minutes. Carve across the grain with very sharp knife for extra tenderness.

Pour the au jus over meat and enjoy!

Bodybuilding Ground Beef Taco Salad

extra lean ground beef
lettuce
salsa
low fat cheese
onion
taco seasoning

Cook ground beef and onions. Add taco seasoning. Put a bed of lettuce on a plate. Cover with ground beef mixture. Top with salsa and cheese.

Protein: 35.4 g
