One of the most popular types of supplements is caffeine. However, caffeine can have many side effects, including heart palpitations, nervousness, diarrhea, and dehydration.

Another bodybuilding supplement that has negative side effects are "prosteroid" supplements. While they build muscle mass and overall strength, they also increase the risk of heart disease. Other side effects include a lowered sex drive.

Glutamine is one of these supplements and has no known side effects. Glutamine already occurs naturally in the body and helps to keep the immune system working properly.
