Bodybuilding Essential Amino Acids

Amino acids are defintely beneficial to bodybuilding. Many bodybuilders rely on amino acids to give them the proper protein needed. Amino acids are used by bodybuilders to help build muscle. It helps them get stronger. Amino acids can actually come in the form of supplements. There are 9 different essentail amino acids, and these cannot be produced by the body itself. They can only be obtained by eating a healthy diet. The essential amino acid are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. One other amino acid - histidine is semi-essential because you don't always get it from food sources. Taking supplements will defintely ensure that you receive all 9 of the essential amino acids that are needed.

Athletes can actually choose to consume 0.4g/kg of quickly diegesting protein that they choose from. This can either be whey hydrolysate or whey concentrate/isolate. If athletes are looking for an even benefiting way to add these to their diet, they can take 0.8g/kg carbohydrate. This will enhance the recovery effects that come from these amino acids.

There amino acids that bodybuilders really need are, L-Glutamine, L-Taurine, and L-Carnitine. These 3 that are listed help bodybuilders create larger and fuller muscles. This doesn't mean that the rest of the essential amino acids are not important. These are created by the body but, not enough to support bodybuilding, that is why supplements are taken.

Every bodybuilder's body is different, so that means that they can all be on different levels when it comes to how much amino acids they are taking. They only know how much their body needs. They feed and supplement their bodies differently. No matter what though, those 9 essential amino acids will defintely need to be taken, because the body does not naturally create them on it's own. In order to be a strong, muscular bodybuilder, you must rely on these essential amino acids whenever you can.
