Daily Protein Requirements

Re: Daily Protein Requirements

I have read the same thing you are telling me about "2 grams of protein per lb. of muscle per day" in several different articles. A totally dedicated bodybuilder who want's to make his increase to the max should probably do his best to use this as a rule on how much protein to consume. However, I"m an amaeter bodybuilder. I can tell you this. Each emmediately after you workouts and eat LOTS OF PROTEINS. After an hour and a half workout, for example, eat at least eight scrambled eggs with only 2 yolks. Eat 5 pcs of toast and that should cover the carbs. In addition you should eat a banana and a tall glass of water and a tall glass of milk. Try this after the next few times that you work out. You should be able to notice how "not as hungry and still yet craved for food" you body feels. After another hour drink a glass or two of milk again and have another banana. For your next meal just eat somethin decent but healthy. Try this for a while and see how differently you body feels after workouts and the time after that.
