pre and post workout meals for weight loss

Good Evening,

I am alittle confused as to if I am eating the right things for pre-post workouts

At 4am - 1/2 cup of oatmeal

5:00am - cardio or strength depending on the day

6am - 1 scoop of whey protein 24 grams of protein

and a piece of toast when during cardio only

if I am doing strength then it would be the same as above but instead of toast I would have a carb supplement in power form that has willie max and detrose.

Could you let me if this is effective in losing weight? My current weight is 219 which I have lost 20 pounds so far.

For the remainder of the day it is pretty much, am snack fiber one yogurt, banana

Lunch low fat chicken salad, 2 pieces of whole wheat bread, 1 cup of salad greens, 5 cherry tomatos, 1/4 shredded low fat cheese, 1 tablespoon of bacon bits, 1 tablespoon of low fat salad dressing

afternoon snack, pear, 11 almonds

evening dinner
grilled chicken
1 baked potato with best life butter
1 cup of brocolli with 1 slice of velvetta cheese
1 1/2 cup of string beans

evening snack
strawberries

3 32 oz of water spread out through the day.
