Are Egg Yolks Good or Bad

For years the egg yolk has had a bad reputation and doctors and the media have warned people away from the egg, primarily due to the egg yolk. For a few decades the egg yolk has been considered a villain, largely because people thought it was a source of pure saturated fat. Saturated Fat Saturated fat, however, is not bad for the body. The biggest study ever conducted on saturated fat intake revealed that saturated fat is actually good for the body. So the entire idea of foregoing all saturated fat is off-base. The body needs saturated fat, particularly if it is in a growth stage. That means infants need more saturated fat, and so too do those trying to build up their muscle. Saturated fat teams up with protein for some impressive gains. Egg Yolk Fat Many people mistakenly think that egg yolks are full of saturated fat but in fact egg yolks are only partially full of saturated fat and contain other healthy fats as well. In fact saturated fat is not even the major fat in the egg yolk, so they whole idea about the type of fat in egg yolks is wholly misunderstood. In fact egg yolk fat is a great blend of the good fats, healthy for you, and you can go ahead and it them without worry as they actually benefit your health to a high degree.
