The Truth About Getting Six Pack Abs

Do you want to know the truth about getting 6 pack abs? I get this 
question all the time. People think all they have to do is do hundreds
of sit up and they will get abs in a short time. Yet, so many contact 
me frustrated that all those sit ups and not getting results.

If you want to get sic pack abs, just do all of the following steps: 

Nutrition is the biggest factor in getting abs. You will not get abs
if you don't make adjustments in the way you eat. You will need to 
lower your calorie intake, for example if you go from 2,000 calories
a day to 1,500, you will be burn an extra 500 calories each day from 
Cardio and more cardio 

Doing cardio exercise every day will speed up your metabolism which 
will increase fat burning. Walking, jogging, biking, swimming, 
dancing. step or spin classes, etc. will all help speed up your 
metabolic rate. Do at least 30 minutes every day of whichever you 
enjoy and be sure to change often so you don't get bored. 

Abdominal exercise
Only when you are doing the two above steps will exercising your 
abs really work. Sit ups are actually a poor exercise for the abs. 
Sit ups actually work the hip flexors rather then the abs. You should
 do crunches, because they work your abs directly.

Lie flat on your back and bend your knees. Place your feet flat on 
the floor and about 10-15 inches from your buttocks. Cross your 
arms in front of your chest. Curl your upper torso up and in 
toward your knees, until your shoulder blades are as high off the
ground as you can get them. Only your shoulder blades should lift
not your lower back. At the top flex your abdominals 
for a count of two. Slowly lower yourself back to the starting 
position and repeat for as many reps as possible.
