How to Get Big Biceps
Getting bigger biceps is twofold as you can easily increase the size
of your biceps by doing some simple exercises that will increase the
size of your biceps. But if your fat percentage is so high that no
one actually sees your biceps because they are covered by an extra
layer of fat then you will be wasting your time.
You will no doubt know very well that even an arm which has a small
measurement can look big when it shows both heads of the biceps and
all three heads of the triceps. This can only be achieved by eating
correctly and drinking lots of water to help speed up your
Biceps should not be trained more than twice a week and you should
make sure that you are getting at least 48 hours between biceps
Listed below are a few points that you should consider when trying
to increase the size of your biceps quickly.
• Perform heavy and fast sets to build mass quickly
• Lose fat for more muscle definition
• Mix up your routine or use a barbell instead of dumbbells to
force your muscles outside their comfort zone
• Gradually reduce your rest time between sets so your muscles
will recover more rapidly.
Probably the most important factor in achieving fast growth when
training your biceps is just like training or increasing the muscle
on any body-part and that is intensity. The last point above is to
reduce the rest time between sets and that is a trick which will
get you the fastest results.
There are certain classic movements when training biceps that have
always done the job very well and always will. The type of biceps
exercises that produce results quickly are listed below although no
in depth explanation is given on exactly how to do them. Like with
any movement your technique and the way that the movement is done
is vital and you should ask a trainer at your gym if you are not
• Standing barbell curls
• Incline dumbbell curls
• Single-arm preacher curl
• Hammer curls
