What to Eat for Breakfast to Burn Fat
If you want to get your day off to a fast fat-burning start, eating
certain foods will go a long way to get you there.
Oatmeal
The first food to put in play for a fat-burning breakfast is oatmeal.
Oatmeal contains resistant starch. Resistant starch does not turn to
sugar like most other carbs; instead, it passes through the body
undigested, acting like a fiber, explains Keri Gans, R.D., a
registered dietitian in New York City and member of the American
Dietetic Association. And it turns of a fat burning process in the
body. You want to do this early in the day.
Bananas
Add some bananas to your oatmeal and get a double effect. Bananas
also have the resistant starch element – particularly those that are
a bit green.
Eggs
Protein is a must and helps you burn some fat, and eggs are great for
getting a lot of protein.
Tea
Tea turns on a fat burning effect in the body as well in a variety of
ways. The best teas for doing this are oolong, green and white teas.
Milk
Surprisingly, whole milk prevents you from becoming fat. The element
nicotinamide riboside in milk actually works against fat. It burns
fat and can prevent obesity.
