Posted by: Billy

Thank you for all the great information on your website. I need your help. Do you know the dieting program called "Banting"? Is it good if you are into bodybuilding?

The Banting diet is one of the many names and versions of the low carbohydrate diet plan.

Back in the 1960's and 1970's it was very common for bodybuilders such as Larry Scott, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane, etc. to follow a diet that was high in protein and healthy fats but very low in carbohydrates, they all said it helped them build muscle and lose fat, while keeping their testosterone levels high.

They ate a lot of meat, eggs, fish, cheese, along with vegetables and salads, but kept away from breads, pasta. etc.

This kind of diet kept them lean all year round while also helping them gain muscle at the same time and they were always ready for photo shoots because they were always ripped, for more information on this type of low carbohydrate bodybuilding plan see https://www.trulyhuge.com/ripped.htm
