Egg Beaters: Egg Whites in a Carton
Egg whites are ranked again and again as the #1 source of protein for bodybuilding or for any competitive athlete. Not only do the offer a stellar amino profile, they don't carry any excess baggage, in other words, no fat or carbs.
Egg whites "beaters" as they are called, are available in your grocery store, next to the eggs. My suggestion before "diving in" to just eating plain egg whites, is try making an omelet with 2 regular eggs and 1/2 cup of egg white beaters, then more toward 1 egg and 3/4 cup of egg white beaters....well, you get it!
