Mike Mentzer Sets and Reps

Posted by: Danny

Hi,

I was reading about Mike Mentzer's Heavy Duty Training and I would really like to try this three day work out however I didn't see the information on how many sets and reps. Is there something you can tell me that's more detailed?

Thanks,

Danny

Here is what Mike Mentzer recommended:

Sets, after a brief warm up, do only one all out set to muscle failure for each exercise in the workout.

Reps, for upper body exercises 6 to 10 reps, for lower body exercises 12 to 20 reps. But you never stop just because you did a certain number of reps you keep going until you can't possible do another rep.

If you have any questions other about Mike Mentzer or High Intensity Training email me and I'll get back to you with an answer as quick as I can.
