Hey! First off thank you for the wealth of Mike mentzer inspired information! I love all HIT inspired training and reading the history of how it all started. I am extremely intrigued with a consolidation type approach and have a few questions.
First, would it be wise to try at home style program?
Second, would not having any rowing movements be counterproductive to back training?
Would two movements be enough to tax the cardiovascular system?
Currently, I'm following John Little's Minimalist Approach, focusing on The Big 3 (leg press, chest press, pull-down, or row) once a week with varying protocols.
My at-home setup will be minimal, and I'd appreciate some advice on creating a program with limited equipment and programming ideas. I currently have adjustable 52.5 lb dumbbells, an X3 resistance band setup, furniture moving straps, yoga blocks, perfect push-up handles, a doorway pull-up bar, and Under Sun resistance bands.
My main question is about guidance on a program, how to utilize what I have, and whether I need to purchase more equipment. I know being at home requires more creativity, considering I'm accustomed to machine-based setups. Thank you in advance!

Yes, it can easily be done at home because it doesn't require much equipment.
The John Little approach is mot much different than what Mike Mentzer recommended, there is nothing wrong with alternating pulldowns with rows.
As far as cardiovascular when you can do a hard set of squats, etc. you will get cardiovascular benefits. But depending on your age and goals you may need more such as biking, treamill, etc.
I actually wrote an article about doing Mike Mentzer workouts at home, see https://www.trulyhuge.com/news/mike-mentzer-home-workout.html
