I'm a lean / well toned 40 something male....with strong upper body. I'd like to develop a more muscular neck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
You can incorperate heavy barbell shrugs into yoru routine. Use a power rack for this. These will help build up your traps. You can also do weighted head raises from the front and sides, if you have access to a headcap at your gym that you can suspend a weight from. I advise staying away from any machine that uses your own applied resistance against to avoid too much pressure to the neck and damaging it.
