How To Build Muscle

If you're thin and want to build muscle and gain weight, it's not always that easy. There are hundreds of sites out there that will tell you how to lose weight but there are not many sites that lay out exactly what it takes to gain weight and build muscle. Well, that's where we come in! You see, building muscle naturally (that's without Steroids) is an art form! You know those bodybuilders you see in the gym - with those 20 inch biceps and thighs that are bigger than your entire body? Although they eat a lot and weight train on a regular basis, they also use Steriods. Watch out! Programs that work for professionals bodybuilders will not work if you want to gain weight naturally!

So what should you do if you want to build muscle, gain mass and gain weight naturally? Well, building muscle is not rocket science. But there are many aspects to muscle building you need to keep in mind. For example you need to know what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat it, what workout programs to follow, are supplements right for you, etc. There's a lot to learn so keep reading!

Muscles grow while you're resting - NOT while you're working out!

There's a big myth that the more you train using weights, the more you'll grow. That is not true at all! In fact, weight training too often can lead to serious injury. Your muscle grow when you're resting, not while you're working out. When you're training with heavy wieghts, you're forcing your muscles to work harder than they normally would. This inturn, causes them to grow bigger and stronger. But if you don't give them ample to rest between workouts, you won't give your muscles enough time grow! You'd be defeating the whole purpose of weight training.

Do supplements work? Nothing will work if you don't eat right and workout out a regular basis. However, some supplements, like Creatine and Andro, can be effective. But keep in mind, they are called Supplements for a reason. They should only be used to supplement your diet. They should not take the place of a full meal. By taking supplements, it does not mean you don't have to workout either. In fact, if you take supplements and don't workout, you could do more harm than good. Remember, supplements can only work if you know which ones to take, when to take them and how to work them into your diet!
