Life Fitness Home Gym Review

Life Fitness Review - What You Need To Know!

The life fitness company's life fitness home gym has 5 models to choose from according to your individual needs, the area you have to work with, and price range.

The models are the G2, G3, G4, G5, and G7, The MSRP's range from $1499.00 for the G2, a base model with space kept in mind, to about $3500.00 for the G7 if the optional bench is included. All carry a lifetime warranty in the frame, welds, pulleys, and parts, with a 3 year warranty on the cables and upholstery. This will list the G2, G3, and G7.

There are no user-defined configurations on the G2 model, but has more than 25 exercises available and an optional leg press attachment available for purchase. This comes with an exercise booklet or cards to aid in the proper use of the machine. This machines dimensions are 71"x48"x83" so will fit in a limited area. The weight stack and shrouds included with the G2 are 160 pounds with optional 50 lb. add-on available.

For just a little more money, the G3 home gym has a lot more to offer giving more than 40 user defined configurations. This one requires a bit more room though at 80"x53"x84". You will also receive a booklet, or cards instructing you how to work the different configurations. There is also an optional leg press attachment that can be bought. This also has a 160 lb. weight stack with shroud and an available 50 lb. add-on.

The G7, Life Fitnesses premium model offers 55 plus different user defined configurations, and a training DVD to get you motivated. Not being as tall 68.5"x70"x83" it will require a bit more square footage in the room. The standard exercise booklet or cards are included, but with the DVD I doubt it will be much used. An optional bench is available for this model, too. This one has a dual (2) 160 lb. weight stacks and shrouds, with that much you won't need additional add-ons.

The 2 models not listed here have comparable options, and add-ons available with user and machine defined exercises, though the G5 does have the DVD available.
