What are Macronutrients?
Macronutrients, sometimes shortened to macros, breaks everything you eat into three categories. The three macronutrients are protein, carbohydrates and fat.
Protein: Good protein foods include beef, chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, beans, etc.
Carbohydrates: Good carbohydrate foods include potatoes, rice, oatmeal, bread, pasta, fruits, vegetables, etc.
Fat: Good fat foods include olive oil, avocado, almond butter, cashew butter, cheese, etc.
