Homemade Pre Workout Drink Recipe

What to make the maximum gains in the gym?

Need something to give you more energy for your intense workouts?

Want something that will make you more focused and "in the zone"?

But, don't want to spend a fortune on some hyped up commercial pre workout supplement that is also full of chemicals and artificial flavors?

Then I have just the thing for you, here's my recipe for making your own homemade pre workout drink that not only works great, but also tastes awesome, will save you money and is free from unnatural chemicals and flavorings.

Here's something I came up with lately, while experimenting with my new Bio-Engineered Protein powder...

Iced Vanilla Latte Protein Shake

You can make it in three easy steps:

I simply put ice in my shaker bottle.

Then I took my coffee pot and pored some coffee over the ice (my favorite coffee is Columbian, but you can use whatever you like best).

I took a scoop of Bio-Engineered Protein and put it in, covered the bottle and shook it up. Bio-Engineered Protein dissolves easy and there were no clumps at all.

I drank this, 10 minutes before my workout, man it tasted good!

And I had a super intense workout, with energy to spare.

Why is this simple drink recipe so effective?

1) Caffeine

All pre workout supplements have caffeine in them, but you don't really need those if you have coffee. And who doesn't have coffee?

Caffeine gives you more mental alertness and focus, it gives you energy, elevates your mood, and it also has the ability to decrease your rate of perceived exertion, which means you can work harder without it feeling harder.

2) Protein and Branched-Chain Amino Acids
