Post Workout Liquid Nutrition

Post Workout Liquidity If you want to maximize your training, what you do after the workout is almost as important as what you do during the workout. Of course rest is a big requirement, as your muscles won't grow unless they have significant post workout rest. It is actually the rest phase where the muscles actually grow. Nutrition also plays a huge role in post workout recovery and subsequent growth. The muscles and other elements in the body are starving for solid nutrition after a hard workout that burns up a lot of the body's available nutrients. Solid as in sound, not as in solid versus liquid, that is. That's because for the immediate effect of post workout nutrition, the best nutrition comes in liquid form. Why is liquid form so vital after a workout? Digestibility. Liquids digest much faster than solids. In fact the time that it takes for a solid to digest actually takes it beyond the time frame for fast action muscle rebuilding. So for the most important post workout recovery input, you want to go with a liquid. You can actually take use of a 2-hour window to reload your muscles with the right type of nutrition but the time frame is segmented. That is, the first part is more important than the second. During the first part you want to get a liquid element that contains a mix of protein and carbohydrates as that is what will address the muscles (and other body elements) as fast and fully as possible. Later you can go ahead and have some solid food nutrition support. However, always remember that the first part of the nutritional rebuilding is the most important, and that the first part needs to be liquid, not solid. For your next hard workout, recover with plenty of rest, and also use a liquid protein/carb mix for the quickest acting nutritional support you can get.
