Should You Workout Everyday?

It is a myth that you need to be in the gym "every day" in order to
get a good physique...
Many people even think that by training twice a day every day they
are going to get great results.
Well, this ISN'T true.
More training DOESN'T always mean better results.
A lot of people see me and say "Rob, you must spend 3 hours a day
in the gym".
Well, guess what?
I DON'T - in fact, I train 4 days a week (if that!) and each time I
spend just around an hour a day working out!
The reason you must NOT over-train is that you need to give your
muscles time to recover to get BIG results.
A lot of the gains you make are when your OUT of the gym.
I'll explain...
When you're in the gym you break down your muscle fibres and when you
go home and rest the fibres recover.
THIS is when your muscles grow.
If you train every day, you don't give your muscles chance to
recover.
RECOVERY is what they need to get the results you want.
By over-training you are NOT giving your muscles the chance to
recover.
Although you may get good short term results, eventually you will go
backwards in your muscle building!
DON'T over train.
Three visits to the gym for about an hour a time is adequate to reach
your physique goals.
