Boyer Coe was a professional bodybuilder who won just about every bodybuilding title including Mr. Texas, Mr. America, Mr. Universe, Mr. World and the World Grand Prix. The only title he never won was Mr. Olympia, but he still had a hell of a professional career. I got to meet him a few years back and he was still in great shape also a very nice guy.
Boyer is perhaps best known for his amazingly peaked and split biceps. Of course genetics has a lot to do with the shape and size potential of his arms, but I'm still sure we can learn thing or two from his routine.
Boyer Coe bicep workout
The following is the bicep routine that Boyer Coe did back in the 1970's.
Machine curls for four sets of eight to 10 reps
Standing curls for four sets of eight to 10 reps
Lying flat curls for four sets of eight to 10 reps
E-Z bar curls for four sets of eight to 10 reps
He says he did all these exercises in superset fashion.
That's 16 sets for biceps, which was very common in those days, this may be too much for you for you can try doing only 1 or 2 sets for each exercise.
